I just watched Tom Finch's acoustic intro lesson for Sister Golden Hair. He explains the strumming pattern perfectly. I would give it a 10 and I usually don't do that.

My recommendation to people just starting out. Practice that an hour a day everyday (just my opinion, not an expert)
