Blues is a (Listening) thing that you have to learn!
1.Listening
2.Play with other players=Jam
3.Find your Groove
4.Let one player do the comping while you lay down your
groove licks then trade the comping back and forth.
5.Learn how to adlib improv ect.
6.Anybody that thinks you play blues
by learning Theory is not a blues player and can't play
the Blues.(Learning how to Listen to your music plus
knowing how to groove is the right and only way.
If anybody thinks you learn to play the blues by learning
Theory is a complete Ediot.
Really you should already know how to play music before
you try to learn Blues Music.
If you told a Pro Blues musician that to play the blues
all you have to do is learn the blues note plus theory
they would laugh you out of town.
If you already know how to play music and you want to learn the Blues Learn some basic Blues Chord Progressions useing 7th chords plus some Blues Rythums.
Learning the Blues Beats are very important when learning
Blues, plus the Bars like the Twelve Bar Blues.
Blues is the Roots of Rock&Roll.
The Blues is a free form music.
Really if you can't play the Blues Beat that blues note
is not going to help you.
Like i say you have to have the beat first plus the
key for learning Blues is (Listening)not learning one
note .
