Did you whipe it away quickly? Is the wood protected? If you cleaned it up right away, I doubt too much can happen. If your neck is unprotected by some type of protective coating or some kind of oil, it *COULD* cause some damage to your neck... But, I wouldn't think so as long as you wiped it away quickly.
