What a great idea, if you have not already realised your fingers are going to hurt like hell, the pain goes away (accoustic guitar that is),but it takes time.
practice everyday, enjoy, you will hit walls, go around them, this is the best site for you. Start at the beginning and don't be impatient because you have just started an ever ending journey, your son is lucky to have you as a mum.
