That was VERY informative. I've watched the movie "A Hard Days Night" again not so long ago and noticed that George was on a 12 string. I just never knew that they had ALL those instruments in there for the opening start. Had to be an in studio wonder to have gotten that down as they did. Something I did notice that the boys did in the early years, besides using real notes on their instruments instead of just power chords that everyone uses now, is that they all smiled a whole lot more than they did when they got into the drug phase of their life.
I guess that goes to show why they made it as they did. They weren't a "Manufactured" band as so many have been made over the years. The boys actually knew how to play their instruments and vocalize. All the time they had fun doing it! That seems to be a major thing that a lot of bands don't look for now. Fun. Too many want to WORK and PARTY. Ya, that sounds great. But, too many burn out on the way up because of this.
I understand that WORK is invoved in everything, but, when you don't follow the old saying, "All work and no play..." Although I guess that's where the PARTY comes in.. I dunno, I've just never been one for drugged out "Fun". So I guess that's also why there aren't any bands that have put out anthing like those boys since their early days.
