I'm Lisa. Just signed up and checked stuff out here as a lurker. It feels like a fun, friendly place, so I thought I'd say "hello."
I play electric. I have played about 3.5 years, with about 1.5 of them being with teacher and the rest, self-taught. Recently, I returned to working with a guitar teacher again to challenge myself. Prior to guitar, I had a musical background as a kid with organ, piano, and choir, including competition and playing many years. So, some of learning hasn't been too difficult. Truth be told, I wanted to play guitar since I was 10. I finally took it up at age 36--better late than never, right?
My hubby and I play together. He started it up around the same time as me. It's been fun to enjoy music together so hands-on, since we are such music lovers.
Anyway, that's enough about me :)
(P.S. Not sure why my profile has my last visit as 12-31-1969 since I wasn't even born then! But, '69 was such a great musical year, so I'll smile.)
