Many years ago, I was a luthier, and as such am very picky about how my guitars play. Best budget acoustic that I've come across is a Seagull. I was impressed 20 years ago when I played one at a local music store. After taking a hiatus for 15 years and selling off all of my equipment, a used Entourage Rustic cutaway was my first purchase. Neck really plays like a dream, great sound from the cedar top, and I spent $275. Their used instruments are one of the best acoustic deals on the internet, IMHO!
