O Yeah, that JB is a screamer, for the neck the Jazz is OK, I would probaly go for a PAF, but thats my preference, what is a pot, well your volume and tone controls are pots, potentiometers, that is, but it's alot easier to spell Pots, anyhow, most guitars that come with humbuckers use 500K ohm pots, which is good for a pu with the normal 7-8k ohm impedance, you see a humbucker doesn't have higher frequency treble output of say a strat single coil pu, the smaller the rating of the vol pot, the more higher frequencies are cut off, the vol pot is like a door, the high freqs need a bigger door to get thru. Now when pu's get hotter they need a bigger door to take optimum advantage of the increased output and to keep the highs, so the 2meg ohm pot is a door 4 times bigger than the standard 5ook ohm pot. I know SD has 2Meg pots on their website, also how many vol controls on your guitar?
