Not to confuse the issue, but i beleive Carvin M22 or C22 humbuckers, http://www.carvin.com (about $100 plus shipping) are good. So are Kent Armstrong. Try a guitars with different makes already fitted - ask the tech at you local guitar store, he should have a fairly honest opinion.

Don't forget different types of body wood will affect how the PUs sound.
