My name is Jake, I'm 21 years old, and I live in Buffalo, NY. I've been playing guitar since I was about 7 or 8 years old and it wasn't until the age of 18 that I started practicing the instrument seriously. About 2 months ago I made the commitment to do whatever it takes to achieve a successful career in music.

I'm into death metal, progressive metal, deathcore, hardcore, and pop-punk mostly but I like to keep an open mind. Inspiration for me can come from any genre of music. My current favorite guitar players/bands are Tosin Abasi of Animals as Leaders, Misha Mansoor of Periphery, Luke Hoskins of Protest the Hero, and Four Year Strong.
