I am just curious if anyone else tends to do this. I switch between acoustic and electric a great deal and particularly after playing a 12 string acoustic I find myself strangling the neck of my electric guitar. It slows down my playing and wears my hand out. It takes me a few minutes to stop doing this and I have to really concentrate to stop.
