If I'm not mistaken, Neal in one of his Tip of the week weekly channel lessons gave a tip where you could take a rubber band, or one of your wife's scrunchies and put it at the very end of your guitar neck. Helps to mute out some of those unwanted noises.

If you ask Chris real nice, he may let you use one of his scrunchies. :D
