I'm trying to improve my style by learning some tricks of the greats. I'd like to know any Jimmy Page, Hendrix, Gilmore, Vai, Zappa, Wylde...tricks you guys want to give up. Cool stuff nothing too simple or commerical sounding. Or better yet anyone's origanal tricks are well appreciated too. Just trying to be the next great as we all are. Sidenote I was told Santana picked up all his style from getting random riffs from differnt people all over the country while touring, in those days they didn't have the internet so try to appreciate how cool it really is.
