About 4 years ago I tried to learn to play the guitar (without guitartricks.com) and I bought one of those bundles with and amp. I was having the hardest time with chords and everything so I gave up. Sold everything. I recently was given another starter strat and was having the same problems because of my big fingers. Well I finally learned that different guitars have different nut widths. So a wider nut width has more room for my fingers. I wish I knew that four years ago.
Anyways, I bought a PRS Tremonti that has a wide neck and it's night and day. I am having so much fun and get less frustrated. Plus with guitartricks.com they have everything laid out perfect to learn.
