I actually have been listening to a lot of 60-70's progressive rock stuff, because I'm not finding much new stuff that turns me on.
Although one newer band sticks out like a sore thumb in my opinion, and I love them frankly. They are classical/progressive metal based. They use odd time signatures in a very unique matter... meaning that is actually flows with a song and they dont do it simply to try and be different. And his vocals for the most part are 80's rock influenced, with some screaming here and there :D
Heres a link if your curious. I personally would like to hear of your opinion of them if you wouldnt mind. To get an outside perspective I suppose...
