X-Edit was unable to locate a device. This may happen for the following reasons:

- The device is not connected to your computer
- X-Edit is already running (try opening presets from within the application)
- Another application is already using the device's MIDI ports
- The USB MIDI drivers have not been properly installed

I'll admit I'm not too computer-swift, but I tried looking up how to troubleshoot these things, but come up with zilch on the Digitech website. Any help please?

Do any of those suggestions sound like the one? Is your RP355 actually hooked up to the PC and plugged in/turned on? Did you actually install the MIDI drivers as well with XEdit? I think there were 3 installs all together when I did my RP250 & XEdit.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
