whenever possible. I tend to sit and play solidly for an hour or so, and then I'll have a guitar with me throughout the evening, and will play for a few minutes (or much longer) while watching TV, being online or whatever. Pretty much the only time I don't have a guitar within reach is while I'm cooking ;)
