Well this is just to say my name's Elyssa ... I have been playing guitar for years, mainly finger picking acoustic folky stuff (my own and other people's) . I want to improve my knowledge of the guitar (scales) and learn to improvise properly and also improve my strumming and learn new techniques. I have been struggling with motivation for years because I am very impatient with myself but now I am more motivated than ever because I realize that what was missing was simply inspiring materials and clear lessons. So far so good. I am quite excited and hope to get better quickly... and be able to call myself a guitarist and not only a singer.
