Skyfire doesn't work and even if it does "sometimes" it is NOT an acceptable solution.

Come on guys, it's time to hire the necessary people to make this happen. It may cost you some money in the very short term, but it will more than pay for itself in gained subscribers!

See my today's post in this subforum's thread, "IPad Optimization Coming?"

With Adobe's announcement it now looks like Flash content can be viewed/listened on iOS devices without having to convert the data/content...once the host site sets up its servers to run the new Adobe release. Sounds to me to be a much simpler, quicker and cheaper way than converting content...

I logged a ticket with Skyfire a while ago and got a response today that they think they've fixed to issue. I just logged in to my guitartricks acct with my ipad2 and downloaded one of the kryptonite videos and....IT PLAYED!!!!!!

Hopefully, it works for all vids.

The one piece of advice I was given by Skyfire was to use the the desktop option when offered to choose between it and ipad modes. That came up when I first started the Skyfire browser

If you have Skyfire on your ipad, it might be worth trying.

The solution is not totally elegant, but seems to work pretty well. we'll see if it works for all vids.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at GT for listening and working hard to make this a reality for iPad/iPhone/Android users.

I know it was probably a lot of work but I'm sure you guys at GT will reap the benefits in no time.

I will be renewing my subscription before the January 17th deadline! Thanks again!

It's only a matter of time now.

"Adobe is moving away from its 15-year-old technology to instead embrace a universal standard for displaying rich media on the Web. Shifting to HTML5 -- the new, broadly accepted Web standard"
