Being old, my first 45 was Elton John's Crocodile Rock. First long player (album) was Grand Funk's Shinin' On and my first CD was AC/DC's Back in Black...nothin' to be embarrassed about there.

...and for the record, ABBA rules! Not related but it's a guilty pleasure of everyone I know. I remember talking to a Slayer dude at a party in the 80's about how it's hard not to like ABBA. Just too danged catchy.
