Ok fine... I'll fess up. Back in the 80's... Not mind you, I'd NEVER have admitted this for fear of the humiliation, I totally dug M.J's Thriller. Sad that his legacy was tarnished, makes me feel a bit at odds when I her his music now. None the less, Thriller was an amazing recording.

I hate to say this, but this is nothing to feel guilty about. "Off the Wall" and "Thriller" are probably two of the greatest albums ever recorded. They were pop records that had amazing instrumentation, and they set the bar for albums to be produced there after. The players on both records are world class, and the songs are all classics across the board. Feel no shame in loving this album, regardless of what his reputation became. He will always be the King of Pop, and his albums will always be the milestones by which most, if not all, pop music is judged upon and compared too.

Simply my opinion, but shared by many I feel.
