As with Soggy I took a few lessons at the age of 10 or 11, but to get on your bicycle with a guitar strapped at the back and rain hitting your face to get to your lessons was not my thing. 15 years later I got myself a keyboard and managed to get beyond Für Elise and played a number of songs. However, I never took the time to read notes.

Now at almost 43 I picked up a cheap guitar and I am very excited to plug it in tonight and with the help of the internet I hope to keep that excitement going for the future.
