I have experienced this often. Usually I will start working on a particular song and I am barely able to make it sound like it should. So I leave it and often not even think about it again. Several days or even a week+ later I will try it again and things seem to fall into place.

I have subscribed here for just over one year and some of the things that seemed impossible when I started (Open D chord was the first real challenge) are getting easier even if they are not quite automatic,,,, yet.
