im new to the forum and just wondering if anyone can help me, im trying to get a better grasp on soloing in terms of playing around and improvising.

i was just wondering if anyone had any links to specific videos or web pages that focus on licks that are commonly used in solos, for example..

----- 5------5--
-5h7----5h7----

----- 7------7--
-7b9----7b9----

-----6h8-----
--/7---------

--------7--9-------------
--9b11-------9r11-------

iv been playing for a year or two now, im self taught and dont get a lot of time to practice because of work but i really want to improve and i see licks such as this in a lot of solos.
as an example Lynard Skynard's massive "Free Bird" solo at the end, for the most part, just consists of the two guitars playing numerous different licks over and over, starting on one then changing to another then another etc

any help would be appreciated. cheers..
