Allow me to update my answers - as I said above, they seem to change every week - no joke.

- Nobuo Uematsu
- Metallica
- Royal Hunt

- "...And Justice For All" (a true classic)
- "Ending Theme" from Final Fantasy VIII by Nobuo (a wonderful composer)
- "One Shot At Glory" by Judas Priest (they kick major ass!

And that's this week's picks, folks. Stayed tuned for updates at 10:00 and 11:00

My favorite band is Dave Matthews Band. Dave rocks! I also like Ani Difranco. She's amazing on the guitar. I don't really like her new stuff though... and then there's bands like rage against the machine and ac/dc, i like them too.

Calm down, loner92, the Vai posting episode was a running joke after everything got straightened out. Hendrix posted, and I'm waiting for Satch to speak up...

I also really enjoy Jimi's music, not a particular song really though. He's got so many great songs just like Joe. And my last would have to be Eric Johnson's "Manhattan". It's a great song no matter what type of music you like, I suggest you check it out if you haven't heard it. Well, I'm off to go judge a guitar competition in California. I'll try to get back in touch with you guys as soon as possible.

!!! Woa, does Steve post here often?

Anyways, the only bands I really listen to now are Metallica (I perfer the older stuff) and Alice in Chains.

Artists: Steve Vai
Zakk Wylde (did you guys know that Ozzmosiswas origonally supposed to have compositions by both Zakk and Steve?)
Gary Hoey
Joe Satriani

hey - there was no definite answer on whether it was or was not Vai posting.

and there is a remote possibility that I am actually Jimi.

...ok, there isn't.

(Maybe this should be two separate topics)

For artists, I would probably say Nirvana, Metallica and Radiohead (Pink Floyd is right up there too).
For songs, I think (it's pretty tight), One by Metallica, Shine on you crazy diamond by Floyd and Heart-shaped box by Nirvana.

Wow. I didn't think this would be that hard a topic. I'm pretty sure I missed something in my list.

ok, i'm not really the eggman

Wow. You´re pretty cool! You like Pink Floyd, my most favourite band! The best ever, and Metallica is a real goody! Kirk Hammett is amazing, and Cliff...well...he never really got to live out his full potential. He was a great bassist, and there was so much more wonders waiting to be created. Very unfortunate, but Roger Waters will always be the worlds greatest bassist and writer!!!!
