I can relate to the fact that their hardcore side doesn't really appeal to me either, but they manage to pull it off pretty well I think. I was originally put on by Mordecai from a friend and since then i've been a pretty devoted fan, though never had the chance to see them live (missed the progressive tour by 1 day, still sore from that)

Yeah been a fan of BTBAM for a while now, definitely hooked on the great misdirect, about 3 hours of the day where i'm NOT listening to it. I'm a huge fan of dillinger, mastodon, and the mars volta; meshuggah not so much, but still enjoy them. I just saw mastodon with dethklok, and although they seem like a joke, i've been a HUGE fan for a few years, and their live performances are amazing. Dethklok's latest album has some great guitar work in it, Brendan Small is a genius.
