Welcome back. My background is similar. I learned to strum enough chords in college to lead a small contemporary worship group, then hardly touched for 30+ years, until a few years ago, when I joined a Praise Band at my church. I'm not a lead guitarist (more rythmn chords, some fingerpicking and vocals), but if written music would help you find the leads you're looking for, you might see if your church subscribes (or would subscribe) to CCLI (www.ccli.com). It's a licensing service for hundreds of Christian artists and composers, and allows you to download and print lead sheets, chord sheets and lyrics to many hundreds of Contemporary Christian Songs. IMO, it's extremely affordable (I believe rates are based on size of your congregation so even smaller churches can afford it), and always seems to give us access to more than we ever actually use. Hope that helps. Blessings to you and your team.
