I'm a constant "window shopper"! :) mbrown makes a couple of good points, in particular, keeping your guitar in plain view. I keep one in every space I frequent. Even a cheapie out in the workshop; all those 10 minute sessions when I am having a smoke add up!

'Fraid I have no input on your LP as I do not own one. Mint is mint, Gibson is Gibson. If it's a good price, you can't really go wrong.
