This brings back old memories. The first guitar I owned in 1963 was a 1963 Cherry Red Gretsch Corvette.

I bought my first "real" guitar in 1973, a Gibson L6s Custom, still have it, still love it! Back in those days it was almost always thought that the great guitar models always started with Fender or Gibson, although Gretsch was also much respected. I'm always amazed at how many guitar companies these days, constantly turn out great guitar models and Gretsch is certainly one of them. Anyone would be proud to own one of these fine guitars! I hope that I am lucky enough to win!!

Customs, tariffs, and shipping prevent merchandise from being shipped reasonably between countries.
That is the reason why U.S. music stores cannot sell to musicians in other countries, even as close as Canada.
We originally intended this contest to be run by Ren in the U.K. but we found that just shipping him the gear was so problematic that it would cost more than the contest itself.
