I have never had a decent pedal system...not even sure how to use one.
This is going to sound strange, but at age 53 I intend to get serious with my guitar playing. I have been out of the loop for so long. I need all the help I can get, and this pedal seems easy enough for me to understand.

Keep rockin'!

The Vox Valvetronix Tonelab LE – It’s tube driven, baby!

One thing that gets me about amp modeling pedals is they tend to have that processed straight- to-the-board sound, then along comes ToneLab by Vox featuring a real 12ax7 pre-amp tube.

While most processors only have pre-amp circuitry, Vox has added “Valve Reactor Technology” which consists of a low-watt power amp, virtual output transformer, and a dummy speaker circuit so that it’s got the same circuit structure as an all tube amp, and you can hear the difference!

This pedalboard features 16 amp models including Tweed, Blackface, AC15, Marshall and Modern, 11 classic speaker cabinet simulations, 50 stomp boxes and 5 eq settings. It comes with 40 programs and 120 user programs.

I like this unit because it’s fairly simple to dial in your own custom sound and it's got gobs of effects. The expression pedal is assignable as is the "Control" footswitch so you can have your favorite stompbox right out front.

It comes in a rugged, compact, metal chassis with large knobs for the amp settings and the classic Vox black knobs for the effects section.

Digital S/P DIF makes it convenient for computer recording. Stereo out, MIDI in/out and a headphone jack with independent volume control make this a valuable tool for home or stage, and it looks good!

Vox’s classic amps have been consistently used on major albums and tours over the years and they’ve got a lot knowledge and experience behind this design, I hate to see it go but I’m happy to pass it on!

This one can be yours courtesy of our friends at Sweetwater by subscribing to our monthly newsletter and reading the product review for the month. This pedal looks SWEET!!!! I have a solid state amp, and have been wanting to upgrade to a tube amp, but don't have the money right now. This would be a great addition to my other pedals. I like the fact that the foot pedal is constructed like a vox wah, nice and solid (some multi-effect pedals I've used are poorly designed with plastic parts and not real rugged.) This pedal looks as if it will hold up to some stomping and that's what you need when you play shows, not some cheap plastic pedal. I absolutely love the fact that it uses a 12AX7 to power just like Marshall and Mesa stacks use-that ROCKS!! VOX has impressed me so far with their wah (I like it better than the Cry Baby), and I'm sure if I won this and had the chance to play it, this pedal would impress me just as well. Lastly, I think it's cool that the expression pedal is assignable. Most multi's don't have an assignable expression pedal, which limits the use of the pedal board. This is definitely a plus when having multiple effects that need some sweeps in them when playing live. Awesome looking pedal.

I've been teaching my son to play guitar. He's getting really good. :)) He uses my Fender Pro Reverb amp. It has tremolo and reverb and that's it. I've been wanting to get some kind of add-on that would provide distortion, wah-wah and other effects. This pre-amp would be great as a front end to my tube amp. Wishin' and hopin' , thinkin' and prayin'. Thanks!

i'm 61, but i still enjoy using all of the gear, that is out there in " guitar land ", to play...i believe that my guitars would love to be connected to this particular item - then maybe i can say that i'm quite a bit younger !!! so, maybe the tooth fairy will read this and assist " sweetwater " in their decision to send this my way...i'm still a " dude " of the 60's, both in age and mindset...so let the long hair flow and the beads change colors - thx, peace, & happiness
