I just scalloped my neck from the 12th fret to the 24th, about 1.5mm, and I can't seem to hear any difference, the strings bend the same, the clarity of the notes seem the same, why do people scallop necks? when u press down a string, it's not touching the fretboard, so how is it easier to bend if it's not in the "scoop"??? when u supress it all the way it moves a half step up.
