I have my amp now and it's true that i may need a volume box of sorts. It is fine and gives me the sound I love and considerbly lighter than what I had. I really can't see why so many slam this amp. Maybe I just got a good one? I plugged in my Tele and tuned the amp to how the included instruction sheet said for country twang. I then hit a couple old Haggard licks and it did just what it was supposed to do, sent a shiver right up the ole spine.

It's about 20 pounds lighter than what I was packing. Not a lot but I'm kind of old and brittle.
