Also, when deciding between a tube or solid state amp, I got the solid state just because it's less of a learning curve. Plug it in, turn it on and jam. Not that tubes are a pain, but I don't know squat about the different tubes to buy and I just know I'd burn one of them up when I forget to let it warm up. lol :rolleyes:

I heard the same thing, but I have had no problems at all from mine. I got the 75W and that thing is LOUD! I tried the Line 6's and they just seemed kinda "tinney" sounding to me, if that makes any sense. I couldn't be any happier with my Vypyr, but that's just me. :cool: :)
