Hi, I just bought a fender squire strat and would like to do some upgrades for better sound and playability. I don't know too much about them but I have heard that you can get better pickups and possibly a new nut. Is there anyone out there that has done this and do you have any suggestions as to what type of pickups etc. I should try. Is it possible to just change out the whole pickguard assemly for an american strat? Thanks for any help
