I turned 50 last November and felt like a fossil on this site. I've been playing since I was 11 but took 15 years off to raise kids and recover from some medical problems. It is really nice to know I'm not alone on here! I'm retired so I have plenty of time to play and I'm lovin it. I play a Fender Strat and have a Peavey Windsor half stack and it is a good amp for what I play, but I want to get a Marshall for the tone. I played a Fender Twin for 20 yrs so I figured I'd try something different. That's what makes this so much fun, always something new. BTW, I have been practicing triads and Chris Schlegel does a great job teaching them, Thanks Chris!
