I started lesson with guitattricks about 3 mos ago. I play at a group that I joined where its open mike. That way I can play and learn from my peers also. Well one of the long time players saw me struggling with the guitar he invited me to his studio and I've been putting about 8 hrs aday with him, he's retired too so he and his wife are happy I'm there and I am too. I'm having a tuff time with rhythm and he's having a heck of a time teaching me. But finally I found the tool section of guitartricks took me along time but thats helped alot.I hope to be with guitar tricks a while and hope to make a couple of friends out there in guitar land. I'll be 71 the 17th of this mo. been married for 46 yrs. my wife doesn't understand the guitar craze either. But that's the way it goes I've got a limited amount af time obviously to learn to play I've taken voice lessons so sing good but I want to also play the guitar, and of course do a good job when I do it. My Dad & Mom both played my brother plays my oldest son his wife and their two children play so u see I ain't got any choice besides the fact that I've wanted to play all m,y Life. So wish me luck and if you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks Herb
