Oh, I'd love to argue about this, but it's really a matter of taste, and I'm really reacting out of Dead Burnout from being around VT Law School Students for the past two years. Let's just say that most of the Dead exposure I've been getting lately has been from guitarists who are frightened and confused by the low D-B on my five string bass.
NOT my idea of "open" or "jamming."
But yes, being burnt out is no reason to argue, so I won't argue.
