Man I feel your pain  I am for lack of a better word "dirt friggen poor" so if my guitar gets damaged I could very well be outta luck. I have a relatively cheap acoustic guitar that I have been learning on. Anyway my shop is where I don't keep my car but have my computers, TV, recliner and where I practice and play. I had set the guitar up on the chair to do something I don't remember what now but I hit the chair. Of course the guitar fell off and hit the concrete floor and sounded like the end of a Jimi Hendrix concert  I thought for sure it was done for but its fine although it has a bit more character now. So I guess it was a lot tougher than I thought.

I know that doesn't answer your question but I hope all is well. Have fun at the concert,

Ed
I stay in the dog house its easier that way...
