I will admit, a lot of your essay was above my musical knowledge. However, I did enjoy what I could relate to.

I will admit, I'm probably one of the guys who helps fuel crap music. To a point anyway. I'm a product of the 80's myself. Graduated in 1985. So you can image which type of rock I enjoy. I would have to say just about everything (rock releated) I hear on the radio these days is crap, at least in my opinion.

However, I have to ask your opinion on two bands that I really enjoy. Well.. Three.

1) Rush : What can I say. There is much tallent in that band.
2) Def Leppard : I enjoy them for there rythms, their style.
3) 311 : Love their style and how they mix up, pop, rap, regge, funk and rock.

Anyway, just curious to hear your thoughts. Be frank with me, you were in your essay. :)
