I have been listening to Johnny Winters growling vocals and red hot guitar licks for thirty years. I saw him kick Stevie Ray Vaughns butt badly in Newport Rhode Island. As a guitarist and songwriter, he has influenced my style more than any other single musician. I always felt that Johnny did not get the credit he really deserved. He is truly one of the greats and I'm happy to see this thread honoring him.
