I was saddened recently to see a video of Johnny on stage. He was helped out to the stage and then led to a chair where he sat and played. His playing was great, as always, but he looked so frail. He's one of those guitarists whose personality is reflected in his playing. He can be soulful, funny, sad, and downright nasty, and I love it all. When I've got the blues, I listen to Johnny's "Hey You". Makes me smile every time.
