I am so glad I became a member of this site. Opportunities Abound! As a young boy learning guitar in the 70's, my father bought me a Les Paul copy (Gold tone). We couldn't afford an amp so he would occassionally allow me to plug into his stereo system. (Quad) I loved it. Later, after many hours of practice he broke down and bought me a pig nose amp. Good memories for me. Both guitars are beautiful but I love the low action when playing. Dad is still going strong at 87 years old, but he won't let me plug into his new system.
