Believe it or not, I was recently introduced to the "Les Paul" guitar by my 12 year old son, who wanted me to check them out online about a month or (2) ago. I was looking to get him the "Epiphone Les Paul Junior Electric" to replace the Fender Stratt (in need of repair) that I had bought for him a few years ago for Christmas. The Stratt was going to convert over to me if I bought the Les Paul for him, but they were out of stock until the end of july! Since then, we managed to get some of the "Kinks" worked out, and now his Stratt is playing better than ever. But... I still don't have an "Electric" to call my own! Although we're just learning, and so far have never played a Les Paul, it's obvious from all the talk about 'em that either one of these guitars would be a great choice for the Beginner as well as the Advanced musician. It would be an "Awsome Thing" to win one! And, I promise... I'd share with my son!!
