I have 3 slides, but my fave is about the size of the neck of a beer bottle. I use a brass one on acoustic, and I have a larger glass one.
I've always loved that sound, and often try to imitate it without a slide. You can do some really cool licks, if you drop both E strings to D. I'll probably post some of that stuff soon, but back to your question.
Light487 already gave you what my answer would have been, if you pick up the technique you can figure out the licks.
