You'd probably have to have a wireless system otherwise you would hang yourself on the guitar lead and probably knock over the singers mic stand etc. Vai used to do it a lot when he was with Roth, check out the vids on youtube - I seem to remember Yankee Rose had a lot of gutar trickery.
