Hello everyone,

I've been doing pinch harmonics for about a year now, but recently I've discovered (not like I'm the first one to ever do this (I think)) how to do them with just my fingers.

I rest my thumb on the string and use my middle finger to pluck the string. This prevents me from having to reposition my pick in my hand to be closer to the string.

This version of Pinch Harmonics seems to have a better tone and lasts longer.

PS: I've noticed if you measure the string left between the bridge and your fretted note, halfway (an octave) between these two points seems to be the best place to preform Pinch Harmonics. Has anyone else noticed this?
