Hey, Ive only been playing for a bout a year, and i am looking to get into tube amps (currently playing a 30w marshall solid state, which ill give to my younger bro). 99% of the time I will be looking to get a blues or jazzy sound using my mexi strat, I have narrowed my search from reading up reviews to the 15w fender pro jr, crate palomino 5 or 15w, or blackheart little giant (3w/5w switch) If I could have my way I would go with either the 379 pro jr, or the 279 palomino, but I am concerned that 15w of tube would be way too loud for my house, I need volume that can work while jamming with my friends but I also need an amp that can still get good sounds at bedroom levels, should I not even bother with a 15w amp then? I need to get to a guitar center to line up these amps and try them out, but the problem is getting up there since its a fairly long drive, hopefully someone can help me out, and as a side note I will probably never play gigs or anything with this amp and have a lot of friends to jam with, but none of them are drummers so I dont need to worry about having to compete sound wise with a drummer
