a good suggestion for the sound you want to achieve is have over powering bass for that suction feel when ever u chugg or pm. and for the treble end when u want to solo maybe use a tube screamer or some overdrive or distortion pedal to kick in the lead sound. that way u can switch between the two sounds by using a pedal.
