What you want (I think I'm understanding you correctly) is rack stuff and a floor controller?

Personally I'm in the process of buying the same thing so I'll just give you my take on it. I went with VooDoo Lab's (aka Digital Music) rack system. It's a 2-piece unit. There is the GCX Guitar Audio Switcher (which is a loop controller) and it mates up with the Ground Control Pro midi foot controller. This system is for putting your pedals up in a rack instead of strewn across the floor. You can also hook up to any rack gear and any combination of amplifiers and program the Ground Control Pro to switch them on anytime you want. You can either access them as individual effects or program any number of them into presets that you can recall anytime you like.

The pair runs $400 each or $800 total.

I can't post links yet...so you'll have to look them up yourself. But both pedals are for sale under the Digital Music brand name at Musician's Friend.com. You can download a LOT of PDF info files from VooDoo Lab on their website.

I hope that this is what you were looking for.
