Hi,

A friend gave me an Epiphone Les Paul and I find the stock pick up really behaves like a microphone rather than a pickup. Totally not meant to be played with distortion. Get those un-controlled feedback very easily.

I am thinking of Humbucker from Hell, PAF PRO, Humbucking Lace Sensor , Hot Rails and the Fred.

Excpet for the PAF PRO, I have not tried the other pick ups before. Only seen their specs.

Please share your experience with these pick ups if you please.
